Atisha Primary School is currently the main focus of Bright Nepal which is a humanitarian outreach project whose primary goal is to make education available to children in need. Bright Nepal is currently serving a small Tibetan community in exile in the Jawalakhel district of Kathmandu. This Tibetan colony serves refugees from Tibet due to the Chinese invasion of Tibet in 1959. Atisha Primary School serves this poor refugee community and provides the children with an excellent all round education. The teachers are on a minimum salary and most parents can barely afford the small school fees. Our help will transform the lives of this community.

Support for Atisha can come in the form of one time donations or in the form of individual sponsorship of one of the children. It can also come through the purchase of a hand loomed Tibetan carpet or rug made in the carpet factory that benefits the whole community. Donations are tax deductible through Tara Dhatu.
